One of the most exciting parts of being chairperson of the polymer and petrochemical engineering department is seeing the exciting science being done by our brilliant and passionate faculty, staff, and students. It’s also been wonderful to meet — albeit virtually — with you, the many friends and benefactors whose generosity enables the beautiful science we do.
At polymer and petrochemical, we believe in the axiom excellence is a journey discipline is a vehicle. We have always aspired for excellence and have achieved high standards at par with the best in the country. It is my earnest endeavor to provide each student with an environment which he/she can grow and maximize their potential. Our mission is to advance knowledge and educate students in science, technology, society, and other areas.
The department provides a strong academic foundation along with a plethora of co-curricular activities to develop our young students to become the true responsible citizens, thought leaders and expert professionals that will best serve the nation and the world. We have state of the art laboratories for use by the students, faculty and industry that providing continuous technical support and contribute to solve the technological needs of the society.
